5 spice tempura mix.




  • 2 tsp chinese 5 spice
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Sechuan pepper
  • 150 gram tempura flour mix
  • 2 dl cold water
Grind the Sechuan pepper corns in a spice grinder or mortar.
Mix all the ingredients really good before adding water to the mix.

Use the batter to deep fry your own choice.
We usually do chicken breast pieces, but have tried vegetables as well.
